Bonjour! Welcome to Paris en Rose.

This blog was started in May 2011. My intent was to create a blog dedicated to all things French. Though I am in no way an expert on France or French culture, I wanted to make a blog that fit most people’s romantic vision of Paris and France. Though this blog is meant for all things French (including French-speaking places outside of France), most of my photos will be of Paris (and the Eiffel Tower) simply because there are many more photos of Paris than anywhere else in the French-speaking world.

“Paris en Rose” means “Paris in Pink.”

I do not own any of the pictures on this blog unless indicated. If something of yours appears on this blog, please message me and I will add credit or take it down, according to your preference.

Are you a boy or a girl? How old are you?

I am a girl. I’m 17 years old.

Where do you live? Are you French?

I am American and I live near Detroit, Michigan.

Have you ever been to France?

I have never been to France (in fact, the only other country I’ve visited is Canada!). But I plan to go to France someday, possibly in college to study abroad.

Do you speak French?

Yes, I have been taking classes for five years, so I know quite a bit of French. However, I am certainly not fluent, so please forgive any mistakes I make. If you would like to send me an ask in French, by all means, go for it! :) I may post your question to the blog, but I will probably answer you privately, especially if I’m getting overloaded.
