Paris en Rose

Yay!! It’s finished!

Check out the Spotify Paris en Rose playlist. A few songs are missing/have been replaced because of the restrictions of Spotify and YouTube, but it’s essentially the same playlist as the one on my blog (with some bonuses!).

It should also show up in your Spotify player if you search “Paris en Rose.” I hope you all enjoy. :)

I’m debating whether to add the song “Les Sucettes” (“Lollipops”) by France Gall to the blog playlist. Serge Gainsbourg wrote the song for 18-year-old France in 1966, about a girl who enjoys anise flavored lollipops. France was apparently too innocent to realize that the entire song was a double entendre for blowjobs. She eventually did find out (and was devastated), but not before a video was produced of her performing the song with props playing on the sexual references. Part of me thinks Serge is a huge asshole to do that to a young girl, but the other part of me can’t stop laughing.

Françoise Hardy | Le Temps de l'Amour
Charles Aznavour
I’m quite obsessed with Julien Doré and Cœur de pirate separately, but together they equal infinite love.

Help, I can’t pick a French song. :(

We have to pick one to present for French class.

I can’t decide between “Pour un infidele” by Coeur de Pirate and Julien Dore, “La Pluie” by Zaz, and “Imparfait” by Ariane Moffatt. D: Vote?
