→France’s Sarkozy announces plans to jail repeat visitors to extremist websites

In the light of the Toulouse shootings, Sarkozy is proposing punishment for people who repeatedly visit websites that promote hate or violence.

Michelle Obama and Carla Bruni. I find this photo really funny for some reason…

I love that Carla Bruni is all these different things rolled into one. She’s a model, a singer, she plays guitar (and writes her own lyrics), she’s a mother (she had her second child today!), and needless to say she’s married to the president of France. She’s no saint or superwoman, but it gives me some hope that she’s not just another pretty face with nothing to say.
