Yves Montand

Jean de Florette (1986) stars Gérard Depardieu, Yves Montand, and Daniel Auteuil and is an extremely good but extremely depressing movie. Ugh. Depardieu plays Jean, a hunchback who has inherited a chunk of land that neighbor César wants and will do anything to get. César’s nephew Ugolin becomes a puppet in his plan. I’m probably going to start posting a lot of Jean and the sequel Manon des Sources even though these stupid movies make me lose faith in humanity aghhhh.
